Run a giveaway

Collect entries from chat with a keyword and draw a winner.

Entries come from chat, and the draw happens when you say so.

1. In the app, open Giveaways in the sidebar, under Community. If you have more than one channel, pick the one to run it on.
2. Under Start a giveaway, fill in the Prize and the Keyword. The default keyword is enter, so viewers type !enter.
3. Set Winners to draw, and Points to enter if entering should cost points - 0 is free.
4. Under Who can enter, tick Subscribers only or Followers only if you want to limit it.
5. Click Start giveaway. The bot announces it in that channel's chat.
6. When you are ready, click Draw a winner. The winner is announced in chat.

A giveaway runs in one channel's chat, so only people chatting there can enter - start it on the platform where your audience is. Nobody can enter twice.

Draw while people are still watching. Drawing after the stream ends means the winner probably never sees it.
