Make your own chat commands

Add !discord, !socials or anything else, with variables that fill themselves in.

A command is a word viewers type and a reply the bot sends back. The reply can include variables that fill themselves in.

1. In the app, open Commands in the sidebar, under Chat.
2. Click Add.
3. Command: the word viewers type - discord, not !discord. Prefix already adds the !.
4. Response: the reply. You can paste links, and use variables like {user} for whoever typed it.
5. Who can use it: Everyone, Subscribers, VIPs, Moderators or Just me.
6. Cooldown (seconds) is how long before anyone can use it again. Per-viewer cooldown (seconds) stops one person spamming it.
7. Click Add to save it, then test it in your own chat.

Moderators can add commands without leaving chat, using !addcom - handy mid-stream. Coming from another bot? Import from another bot brings your whole list over in one go.

The bot's own commands - clip, points, song and similar - are in the same list with a BUILT-IN badge. Make a command with the same name and YOURS wins: the built-in stops answering in your chat. Pick another name unless that is what you want. To change a built-in's reply, use Edit on it instead, and Disable to switch it off.
