Stop answering the same question every stream

The bot answers what are your specs and when do you stream, so you do not have to.

Every channel has five questions that arrive every single stream. Auto-FAQ watches for them and answers in chat, and it can also tell you which questions chat keeps asking that you have no answer for yet.

1. Turn it on

  1. Open Auto-FAQ in the sidebar.
  2. Turn on Smart auto-answers.
  3. Turn on Reply in chat with the answer, or leave it off if you only want to collect questions for now.
  4. Turn on Track unanswered questions.

2. Add an answer

  1. In Your FAQs, add one.
  2. Question chat asks: write it the way a viewer would type it, e.g. what are your PC specs?
  3. The bot's answer: write the reply exactly as you want it to appear in chat.
  4. Extra trigger words: add the other words people use - specs, setup, pc, rig.
  5. Leave Enabled on and save.

3. Let chat write the rest for you

  1. After a few streams, look at What chat is asking.
  2. Anything asked often enough appears there.
  3. Click Answer this to turn it into a real FAQ, or Dismiss to stop it being suggested.

The What chat is asking list stays empty forever unless Track unanswered questions is on. It only collects from the moment you switch it on - it cannot look back at chat from before.

If the bot answers things it should not, lower Match sensitivity. If it misses obvious ones, raise it and add more trigger words. Min gap between answers is what stops the bot machine-gunning replies during a busy moment.
