Show your latest follower on stream
Text files OBS can read - latest sub, top supporter, follower count and more.
The app writes plain text files that update themselves. OBS reads them with a Text source, which is how most streamers show a latest follower.
- Open the desktop app and find Stream Labels.
- Turn it on and note the folder it writes to.
- In OBS, add a Text (GDI+) source.
- Tick Read from file.
- Browse to that folder and pick the label you want - latest follower, latest sub, and so on.
- Style the text however you like. It updates itself from then on.
Pick Read from file, not Paste. If you paste the contents in, you get a snapshot that never changes and it will still look correct on your first test.
