Control OBS from the dashboard

Switch scenes, start the stream and toggle sources without alt-tabbing.

OBS only listens to programs on the same PC, so this is one of the things the desktop app exists for. The website cannot reach OBS on its own.

1. In OBS, open Tools then WebSocket Server Settings.
2. Tick Enable WebSocket server.
3. Click Show Connect Info and copy the password.
4. Open the GriddleBot desktop app and go to OBS in the sidebar.
5. Tick Enable OBS control, paste the password into Password, and click Save & connect.
6. Your scenes appear under Scenes. Clicking one switches OBS.

Leave Host and Port as they are (127.0.0.1 and 4455) unless you know you changed them in OBS. A wrong port fails in exactly the same way as a wrong password, which makes it hard to tell which you got wrong.

To hide scenes you never switch to - separators, staging scenes - add the OBS Scenes module to your Dashboard and use Choose scenes on it. That only affects that list, not OBS.
