Share bans with other streamers, and handle appeals

Sync your bans across platforms, use the shared banlist, and give viewers a way to appeal.

Two related things on one page: pulling in bans other streamers have already made, and giving the people you ban somewhere to argue their case that is not your DMs.

1. Sync your own bans first

  1. Open Banlist and Appeals in the sidebar.
  2. On the Banlist tab, turn on syncing your bans across your own platforms.
  3. Ban somebody once and they are banned everywhere you stream.

2. Use the shared list

  1. Turn on contributing to and drawing from the Community Banlist.
  2. Use Banlist sweep to check your existing chatters against it.
  3. Pick a channel and how far back to look, review the matches, and Select all or pick individually.
  4. Apply. Nothing is banned until you press it.

3. Trusted circles

  1. Create a circle, or Join with an invite code from a friend.
  2. Share your invite code with streamers you actually trust.
  3. Bans inside a circle carry more weight than the open list.

4. Turn on appeals

  1. Switch to the Appeals tab.
  2. Write the intro shown on your appeal page.
  3. Copy your appeal link and put it wherever banned viewers will see it - your panels, your Discord.
  4. Appeals arrive in the queue. Approve and unban, or Deny.

The sweep bans real people in bulk, so read the list before pressing Apply. A shared list is other streamers' judgement, not yours, and it is your channel that gets the complaint.

Approving an appeal unbans them everywhere you had them banned, in one action - you do not have to go around each platform undoing it.
