Card payments through Stripe, with alerts on stream - and GriddleBot never holds your money.

Money goes straight from the viewer to you. GriddleBot never holds it - it just hears about the payment so it can thank people and put an alert on screen.

Ko-fi isn't connected to GriddleBot at the moment - tips on your donation page are card payments, through Stripe.

Card payments

1. On the app's Donations page, find Card donations (Stripe).
2. Choose Your country - Stripe locks it to your account, so pick carefully - then click Connect Stripe.
3. Stripe's setup opens in your browser. It will ask for your details, because Stripe pays you directly. Come back to the app when it is done.
4. Once Stripe has checked your details, the card says Connected and able to take payments.
5. Under Settings, turn on Accept donations and click Save. Your page's address is set under Your donation page, in Donation link - the page is griddlebot.com/donate/ followed by that link.

Your donation page only works while Accept donations is on, and card payments only once Stripe has finished checking your account. Until then the page is not taking money, however complete it looks.

Test with a real small tip before you rely on it. A setup that is not quite finished looks identical to one that works until money actually moves.
